Strawberry Shortcake Parfait Jars

Layers of fluffy cake, whipped cream, and juicy strawberries served in a jar—picnic vibes unlocked!


Ingredients (makes 4 jars):

  • 1 pound cake or shortcake (store-bought or homemade), cubed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Optional: vanilla pudding or mascarpone for extra richness
  • Mason jars or clear cups for serving

Instructions:

  1. Macerate the Strawberries:
    Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until juicy.
  2. Assemble the Layers:
    In each jar, layer:
    • Cubed cake
    • A spoonful of strawberries
    • A dollop of whipped cream
      Repeat until the jar is full.
  3. Top It Off:
    Garnish with a strawberry slice or mint leaf.
    Optional: drizzle with strawberry syrup or white chocolate!
  4. Serve or Chill:
    Serve immediately or chill for 1 hour to let the flavors blend. Perfect for make-ahead desserts!
