Strawberry Shortcake Parfait Jars
Layers of fluffy cake, whipped cream, and juicy strawberries served in a jar—picnic vibes unlocked!
Ingredients (makes 4 jars):
- 1 pound cake or shortcake (store-bought or homemade), cubed
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- Optional: vanilla pudding or mascarpone for extra richness
- Mason jars or clear cups for serving
Instructions:
- Macerate the Strawberries:
Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until juicy. - Assemble the Layers:
In each jar, layer:- Cubed cake
- A spoonful of strawberries
- A dollop of whipped cream
Repeat until the jar is full.
- Top It Off:
Garnish with a strawberry slice or mint leaf.
