Marshmallow Bunny Tails Popcorn Balls
Fluffy, sweet, and irresistibly cute—these popcorn balls look just like bunny tails and make the perfect Easter treat!
Ingredients:
- 6 cups popped popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
- 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- Extra mini marshmallows (for “tails”)
Instructions:
- Prep the Popcorn:
- Place popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Remove any unpopped kernels.
- Make the Marshmallow Mixture:
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract if using.
- Mix it Up:
- Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn.
- Stir quickly with a spatula (greased or buttered hands work great too) until all the popcorn is evenly coated.
- Form the Balls:
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then form into 8–10 round balls with your hands.
- Roll each ball in shredded coconut to coat.
- Add the Bunny Tails:
- Press one mini marshmallow into each popcorn ball to look like a tail.
- Cool & Set:
- Let them set at room temperature on wax or parchment paper for 15–20 minutes.
