Banana Bread Mug Cake (5-Minute Dessert!)

Got a ripe banana? You’re 5 minutes away from a warm, fluffy banana bread you can eat with a spoon.


Ingredients

  • ½ ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: chocolate chips or chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mash banana and mix in the egg.
  2. Stir in sugar, vanilla, milk, and cinnamon.
  3. Add flour and salt, mix well. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  4. Microwave for 1½ to 2 minutes. Let cool for 1–2 minutes before eating.
