Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with Popeyes to create the hot sauce of our dreams and our body-ody-ody-ody-odies are so ready. Megan worked with Popeyes to create the sweet and bold sauce “inspired by Megan’s sassy personality.” It’s made with honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper, giving a new twist to spicy sauce. Starting on Oct. 19, fans and Popeyes-lovers alike can order the Hottie Sauce on its own, atop the beloved Chicken Sandwich, or with the new nuggets.
And that’s not all — Megan has officially joined the Popeyes team as a franchise owner. “I’m appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes restaurants,” she said. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their lineup.”
The partnership will also include three lines of merchandise, with the first release coming on Oct. 19 alongside the unveiling of the Hottie Sauce, and the following two dropping throughout November. The first collection, aptly titled Thee Heat, includes a bikini, T-shirts, tumblers, hats, and even a chicken tenders plush dog toy. It will be available at 12 p.m. ET on TheeHottieSauce.com.
