Crumbl Expands Beyond Cookies with New Frosted Cornbread Dessert

Crumbl, the viral dessert chain renowned for its ever-evolving lineup of creative cookies, is introducing a new treat that strays from its traditional offerings. Known for its social media hits like the Patriotic Fruit Pizza and Strawberry Cake Cookie, Crumbl is now baking up something entirely different—a frosted cornbread dessert.

This new item seems to be a response to the popularity of their cornbread cookie, which had been absent from the menu for some time. The frosted cornbread creation is set to be a unique addition to their dessert lineup, featuring a moist cornbread base, a honey butter glaze, and a topping of whipped buttery frosting with an extra drizzle of honey. This dessert will initially be tested at select locations, with a potential nationwide rollout depending on customer reception.

This isn’t the first time Crumbl has experimented with non-cookie items. Earlier this year, the chain released a Tres Leches Cake, which became a sensation despite being available for only five days. More recently, the brand introduced other non-cookie desserts like the Layered Berry Trifle Cake Cup and Strawberry Shortcake Square, further solidifying its reputation for innovation.

Crumbl’s strategy of introducing new dessert items alongside its famous cookies is part of its broader effort to keep customers engaged with weekly flavor drops and surprise new products. With over 800 locations across the U.S., Crumbl is the fastest-growing cookie chain in America, showing no signs of slowing down as it continues to expand its menu beyond cookies.
