Forget vanilla and chocolate—there’s a new flavor on the horizon that’s turning heads and stirring up conversation: breast milk-flavored ice cream. The quirky creation is the latest brainchild from Frida, the baby product company known for shaking up the parenting world. And yes, it’s real (not an early April Fool’s joke).

What’s Actually in It?

Despite the name, this ice cream doesn’t contain actual breast milk. Instead, it’s crafted to replicate the flavor, texture, and nutritional essence of human milk using safe, non-human ingredients. It’s sweet, slightly nutty, and has a touch of salt—an oddly accurate profile, according to moms who’ve tried the real thing.

Frida says the formula includes nutrients found in breast milk, like Omega-3 fatty acids, iron, calcium, and Vitamins D and B. It’s meant to be both a fun novelty and a tribute to the power of moms, launching alongside their new 2-in-1 Manual Breast Pump.

Why Breast Milk?

Studies show that 70% of moms admit to tasting their own milk, and nearly a third of men are curious about what it’s like. Frida tapped into that curiosity, turning it into a marketing masterstroke. Reactions online have ranged from “gross but I’d try it” to “honestly, this sounds kind of delicious.” One user even shared, “I made my own breast milk ice cream once. It was actually yummy!”

Celebrity Sip-ports

Celebs like Kourtney Kardashian and Ashley Graham have opened up about trying breast milk themselves—whether out of curiosity or for wellness reasons. Frida’s ice cream might just normalize what’s already happening behind closed doors.

When Can You Try It?

Here’s the kicker: it’s not available just yet. Like a baby, it’ll take nine months to arrive. The brand cheekily mirrors pregnancy timelines for the launch, inviting people to “sign up for updates” on their site while the ice cream finishes its “gestation.”

Final Scoop

Frida’s breast milk-flavored ice cream isn’t just a headline grabber—it’s a tongue-in-cheek celebration of motherhood, curiosity, and nutrition. Whether you’re a parent, foodie, or just someone who dares to try anything once, this bizarre but buzzworthy dessert might just earn a spot in your freezer next year.

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have been intercepting egg smugglers at an unprecedented rate, as a national egg shortage continues to impact consumers. The shortage, largely attributed to the ongoing avian flu outbreak, has led to a significant rise in attempts to bring eggs across the U.S.-Mexico border, with authorities reporting a sharp increase in confiscations.

Egg Smuggling on the Rise

Border agents have reported an increase in unauthorized egg imports, particularly at the southern border. According to a CBP news release, officers in the El Paso sector alone intercepted more than 90 attempts to smuggle eggs in January. The San Diego office has also noticed a surge, with Director of Field Operations Sidney Aki stating via X (formerly Twitter) that officers have been seizing more eggs at ports of entry.

Recent data from CBP indicates a 29% rise in egg-smuggling attempts between October 2024 and February 2025 compared to the same period the previous year. While some individuals unknowingly violate customs regulations, others attempt to exploit price disparities between the U.S. and Mexico, where eggs are significantly cheaper.

Why Are Eggs Prohibited?

Raw eggs, along with poultry, meat, fruits, and vegetables, are strictly regulated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the CBP due to concerns over foodborne diseases. The primary risk associated with unauthorized egg imports is the potential spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) and Virulent Newcastle Disease (ND)—both of which pose serious threats to poultry farms and food safety.

“Importation of raw/fresh eggs into the United States is generally prohibited due to concerns about diseases such as HPAI and ND,” the CBP stated in an official release. “Travelers are prohibited from bringing in fresh eggs, raw chicken, unprocessed avian products, and live birds into the United States.”

Penalties for Smuggling

Individuals caught attempting to smuggle eggs can face hefty fines. Civil penalties for failure to declare prohibited items can reach up to $10,000, with non-commercial first-time offenders potentially being fined up to $1,000. In January alone, CBP agricultural specialists in El Paso issued 16 civil penalties totaling nearly $4,000 for violations involving smuggled agricultural and food products, including raw eggs.

Authorities continue to urge travelers to declare all agricultural items upon entry to avoid penalties. “CBP encourages travelers to declare all agriculture items to avoid penalties,” Aki emphasized in his statement.

Egg Shortage and Government Response

The current egg shortage is a direct result of the devastating avian flu epidemic, which has significantly reduced the U.S. poultry population. According to a report from the University of Minnesota, more than 156 million birds have been lost since the outbreak began in 2022. The crisis escalated in early 2025, with an estimated 43 million birds lost in January and February alone—accounting for nearly 25% of all birds affected since the outbreak began.

With supply struggling to meet demand, egg prices have soared, prompting desperate measures from consumers seeking more affordable options. In an effort to stabilize the market, the U.S. government has taken steps to supplement the domestic supply through legal imports. A recently announced plan will see the U.S. import over 16,000 tons of eggs from Turkey through July, ensuring a regulated and safe alternative to smuggled goods.

Food Safety Concerns During Avian Flu

Many consumers remain concerned about whether it is safe to eat eggs during an avian flu outbreak. According to the USDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), properly cooked eggs pose no risk to human health. The primary concern lies in raw or undercooked eggs, which can carry bacteria such as Salmonella in addition to the risks posed by avian flu.

As CBP continues to crack down on egg smuggling at the border, authorities emphasize the importance of following import regulations to protect public health and the poultry industry. While the national egg shortage persists, legal alternatives—such as government-approved imports—are being implemented to help ease the burden on consumers and stabilize prices.

In the diverse and often surprising world of perfumery, a unique fragrance stands out, catering to the tastes of cheese aficionados: Eau de Stilton. This unconventional perfume, crafted by the makers of Stilton cheese, offers an olfactory experience that is as distinctive as it is unexpected, boasting an “earthy and fruity aroma” reminiscent of the famous blue cheese.

The Inspiration Behind Eau de Stilton

Stilton cheese, known for its strong flavor and characteristic aroma, has long been a staple in the world of gourmet foods. The idea to transform this culinary delight into a wearable fragrance emerged as an innovative way to celebrate the beloved cheese. This concept isn’t just about novelty; it’s a testament to the sensory connections between taste and smell, and how flavors we enjoy in food can find a place in other aspects of life, including personal fragrances.

The Aroma Profile

Eau de Stilton is not just a gimmick; it is a carefully crafted perfume. The scent is described as having an “earthy and fruity aroma,” which mirrors the complex profile of Stilton cheese itself. The earthiness likely comes from undertones that resemble the rich, moldy aspect of blue cheese, while the fruitiness could add a sweet, fresh dimension to balance the overall scent. This combination aims to evoke the same depth and richness found in a bite of the creamy, veined cheese.

Crafting the Unusual Scent

The process of creating Eau de Stilton involves the delicate art of perfumery, where various scent notes are blended to achieve a harmonious and appealing fragrance. The challenge lies in capturing the essence of Stilton cheese in a way that is pleasant and wearable, without being overpowering or too literal in its interpretation. The creators would have needed to consider how the earthy tones of cheese could be translated into a scent that complements the human skin and appeals to the senses when worn.

Market Reception and Audience

Eau de Stilton, while niche, has garnered attention for its bold approach to fragrance design. It caters to a specific audience: those who appreciate the finer aspects of gourmet food and are open to unconventional scents. This perfume is more than just a novelty item; it’s a statement piece for the adventurous fragrance lover and a conversation starter.

The Significance in Perfumery

The creation of Eau de Stilton reflects a broader trend in perfumery where boundaries are being pushed, and unconventional ingredients are explored. It shows how the world of scent is not just limited to traditional floral or musky notes but can venture into more daring territory. This fragrance challenges the norms and encourages perfume enthusiasts to explore beyond their comfort zones.

Eau de Stilton is a bold foray into the uncharted territories of scent, blending the world of fine cheeses with that of high perfumery. It stands as a testament to creativity and innovation in the fragrance industry, proving that the potential for new scents is as limitless as the imagination. Whether it becomes a cult classic or remains a quirky footnote in the history of perfumery, Eau de Stilton has undoubtedly made a statement and broadened the horizons of scent enthusiasts around the world.

In an unexpected twist on traditional engagement photography, Tennessee-based photographer Shea Cravens has brought a novel concept to life by conducting a photo shoot at an Olive Garden restaurant. This unusual choice of location has captured the attention of social media users and highlights a creative approach to celebrating special moments.

A Creative Idea Blossoms

“I asked Shea — our photographer and longtime friend — if there was anywhere she had been wanting to shoot but hadn’t yet. That’s when she mentioned Olive Garden!” said Carlsey Bibb, one-half of the engaged couple

The idea for the photo shoot originated during a lunch at the Italian-American chain. Cravens, inspired by the ambiance of the restaurant, suggested Olive Garden as the backdrop for the engagement photos of Carlsey Bibb and her fiancé. The suggestion, though unconventional, was embraced by the couple, demonstrating their trust in Cravens’ artistic vision.

“I looked over at the building and said to my mom, ‘This would be a cool spot to take some photos’… When we started planning to do Carlsey and Caden’s engagement photos, Carlsey had full trust in my idea, and I’m so grateful,” Cravens said.

The Olive Garden Setting

Olive Garden, typically known for its family-friendly atmosphere and Italian cuisine, provided a unique and charming setting for the photo shoot. The exterior of the restaurant, with its distinctive architecture, offered a backdrop that Cravens believed could capture the essence of a quaint town in Italy. This creative use of a common dining location challenges conventional norms of engagement photography, showcasing how everyday places can be transformed into picturesque scenes.

Social Media Reaction

The photo shoot, shared on both Instagram and TikTok, has received significant attention and positive feedback. Many have praised Cravens for her innovative approach and the ability to see potential in an ordinary location. The photos have sparked conversations about the creativity in photography and how unconventional choices can lead to memorable and unique experiences.

Engagement Photography: Breaking Conventions

Cravens’ Olive Garden engagement shoot represents a broader trend in engagement photography, where couples and photographers are seeking to break away from traditional settings. By choosing a location that is meaningful, yet unconventional, the couple has created a set of engagement photos that stand out for their originality and personal significance.

The Olive Garden engagement shoot by Shea Cravens serves as a testament to the power of creativity and the willingness to explore unconventional ideas. It highlights how locations, often overlooked, can become the perfect setting for capturing life’s special moments. As more couples seek unique ways to commemorate their engagements, such imaginative approaches to photography are likely to gain popularity.

In a recent incident that has sparked discussion and concern, a Taco Bell customer claimed to have found a foreign object, which she believed to be a band-aid, in her Gordita Crunch. The incident, captured in a TikTok video, shows the customer, identified as Hannah, expressing her shock and dismay after biting into the Gordita Crunch and discovering the blue-colored object.

The Incident Unfolds

In her video, Hannah expresses her frustration and disbelief, pointing out that the object in her food is blue, and questioning what it could be. Upon closer inspection, she identifies it as a band-aid, leading to further shock and anger. Adding to her frustration, Hannah mentions in the video’s caption that the Taco Bell location refused to refund her for the item since the order was placed through the mobile app.

@hannahbryantt0 @tacobell ♬ original sound –

Debate Among Viewers

The video quickly garnered attention, with many viewers sharing in Hannah’s disgust and concern. However, others offered alternative explanations. One commenter, claiming to have worked at Taco Bell, suggested that the object was not a band-aid but rather a piece of the blue paper cover used on sour cream dispensers. Another user supported this theory, noting that the blue object resembled the cover for the sour cream tubes used in Taco Bell kitchens.

Further Investigation and Responses

Several videos online show Taco Bell employees using a caulking-gun-like apparatus for administering sour cream, which includes a tube with a blue cover. However, there has been difficulty in obtaining a clear image of this tube and its blue wrapping to confirm the claims. Additionally, a similar case was reported a year ago by a Reddit user who believed a blue band-aid was in their food. It turned out to be a sticker from the end of a sour cream tube, raising questions about the visibility of such items in food and the store manager’s response to the situation.

Conclusion and Implications

The incident at Taco Bell has sparked a debate over food safety, customer service, and the nature of foreign objects found in fast-food items. While some support Hannah’s outrage, others suggest a more mundane explanation related to the restaurant’s food preparation practices. This case highlights the importance of vigilance in food service and the need for clear communication and responsive customer service in addressing such concerns. Taco Bell has yet to issue a formal response to the incident.

Pizza is a staple in the Italian diet and has become a popular food worldwide. However, in Italy, pizza is taken very seriously, and there are strict rules in place to ensure that it is made according to traditional methods. One of these rules is the law that prohibits pizza makers from using toppings that are not approved by the authorities.

The law was put in place to protect the quality and authenticity of Italian pizza. The approved toppings are carefully selected by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture based on their quality, taste, and nutritional value. The Ministry also sets guidelines for the preparation and cooking of the pizza, including the type of flour, yeast, and salt that should be used.

<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3354990327734544"

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-3354990327734544"
     data-ad-slot="8824512395"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

While the law may seem restrictive, it has actually helped to promote innovation in the pizza industry. Pizza makers have had to get creative with the approved toppings and find new ways to make each pizza unique. This has led to the creation of many delicious and innovative pizza recipes.

However, there are some who criticize the law as being too restrictive and limiting. Some pizza makers argue that the law does not allow for enough creativity and that it stifles innovation in the industry. Others believe that the law is outdated and should be re-evaluated to allow for more freedom in pizza making.

Despite these criticisms, the law remains in place and is an important part of Italian food culture. Pizza is considered a national treasure, and Italians take great pride in their culinary traditions. The law helps to ensure that Italian pizza remains true to its roots and that only the highest quality ingredients are used.

In addition to the approved toppings, there are also specific rules for the preparation and cooking of the pizza. For example, traditional Neapolitan pizza must be made with San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella cheese, and it must be cooked in a wood-fired oven at a temperature of around 430-480 degrees Celsius for no more than 90 seconds.

In conclusion, the law that prohibits pizza makers from using non-approved toppings may seem unusual to outsiders, but it is an important part of Italian food culture. The law helps to ensure that Italian pizza remains authentic and of the highest quality, and it has also encouraged innovation and creativity in the pizza industry. While there may be some criticism of the law, it remains an essential part of Italian culinary heritage.

New Jersey residents are left scratching their noodles after finding hundreds of pounds of cooked pasta along a creek bed in the woods last week. The town has since then cleaned up the macaroni mess, but they are left with a puzzling memory.

Mountains of spaghetti and piles of other pastas, including ziti, were seemingly dumped by the stream near Veterans Park in Old Bridge, according to images posted by resident Nina Jochnowitz last Wednesday.

someone very mysteriously dumped 3-400 pounds of pasta in the woods in old bridge, nj …… i need to know everything pic.twitter.com/z6D1e7u2JJ
— soup girl (@worrystonee) May 2, 2023

It was estimated that nearly 500 pounds of pasta was left behind by a mystery person. Although the pasta dumping fiasco has gained a lot of laughs online, Jochnowitz said the so-called pasta dump illustrates the larger issue Old Bridge is facing with illegal dumping and a lack of bulk garbage pickup.

Soon after Jochnowitz posted about the ordeal and reported the food waste to the township, the town’s Public Works rushed to the scene and cleared the noodles.

“You might say, ‘Who cares about pasta?’ But pasta has a PH level that will impact the water stream,” she told the Inquirer. “That water stream is important to clean up because it feeds into the town’s water supply … It was one of the fastest cleanups I’ve ever seen here.”

“Pasta on the rocks” is a unique dish that was recently introduced by a restaurant in London. The dish consists of a plate of spaghetti that is served on top of a bed of ice to keep it chilled. A warm sauce is served separately, and diners are encouraged to mix the pasta and sauce together to create a refreshing and unusual dining experience.

The idea behind “pasta on the rocks” is to provide a new twist on classic pasta dishes and to offer diners a fun and unique dining experience. The ice bed not only keeps the pasta cold but also adds an interesting texture and presentation element to the dish.

While “pasta on the rocks” is a relatively new concept, it has already gained a following among adventurous diners and food enthusiasts. Some chefs and restaurants are experimenting with different variations of the dish, such as adding seafood or using different types of pasta.

Overall, “pasta on the rocks” is a fun and quirky dish that offers a unique twist on a classic food staple.

Instructions:

Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and rinse the spaghetti under cold water until it is completely cool.

In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.

Take a handful of the cold spaghetti and press it through a potato ricer to create spaghetti-like strands.

Gently fold the spaghetti into the whipped cream mixture, being careful not to overmix.

Spoon the mixture into a serving dish or cone-shaped bowl to resemble a pile of spaghetti.

Drizzle the strawberry sauce on top of the spaghetti and sprinkle with shaved white chocolate, if desired.

Serve immediately.

Honey is a natural sweetener that has been used by humans for thousands of years, and it’s true that honey never spoils in the sense that it won’t spoil or go bad over time. This is because honey has unique properties that make it resistant to spoilage.

One of the main reasons honey never spoils is because it has a very low moisture content, usually around 18%, which means that bacteria and other microorganisms cannot grow and thrive in it. Additionally, honey contains hydrogen peroxide, which has antibacterial properties that help to further prevent spoilage.

There have been reports of thousands-year-old honey found in various parts of the world. In 2015, archaeologists in Georgia discovered honey samples that were estimated to be around 5,500 years old. The honey was found in clay pots in the ruins of an ancient city and was still edible, although it had crystallized and had a slightly sour taste.

In 2016, scientists discovered honey samples in Egypt that were estimated to be around 3,000 years old. The honey was found in the tomb of a pharaoh and was still in a liquid state, although it had darkened over time and had a crystalline texture.

However, while honey may never spoil, it can crystallize over time, which is a natural process that happens when the glucose in honey separates from the water in it. This can cause the honey to become thicker and harder to use, but it can easily be fixed by placing the honey jar in warm water to liquefy it again.

It’s also important to note that while honey never spoils, it can still go bad if it becomes contaminated with moisture or other substances that could allow bacteria or other microorganisms to grow. So, it’s best to store honey in a cool, dry place and to always use a clean spoon or utensil when scooping it out.

Pringles has launched a campaign to rename a spider that seems to be bearing the a picture of their famous mascot, Mr. P, on it’s back. The craziest part? It really DOES look like a sketch drawing of Mr. P.

Currently named the Kidney Garden Spider, the spider has a round white body with distinctive markings that look like two tiny eyes above a massive mustache. Catching on to the hilarious find, Pringles has tweeted to the masses in hopes of gaining enough support to officially rename the spider in honor of the famous snack.

Meet the Pringles Spider. A real spider with the Pringles face on its back.
Help us get the Pringles Spider officially recognized, and adopt one today at https://t.co/P3V9nCPkj0 #PringlesSpider pic.twitter.com/WfGnLiB5FS
— Pringles (@Pringles) June 23, 2022

Importantly, Pringles isn’t attempting to change the official, globally-recognized scientific name of the spider which, according to Wikipedia (my source for all things spiders), was established in 1886 and is currently Araneus mitificus. Instead, they are trying to get the common name of the spider changed.

Unfortunately, they’re not at groundswell yet. A week after launching the petition on Change.org, Pringles has currently only convinced 741 people to sign it, and that’s despite a bit of bribery: The brand has said that the first 1,500 people to sign the petition would be eligible for free Pringles if the new name is actually recognized.

“In 1968 the world was introduced to the iconic Pringles can and logo, but little did we know there was a creature amongst us who was unknowingly spreading the Pringles love,” Mauricio Jenkins, U.S. marketing lead for Pringles, stated in announcing the petition last Monday. “We’re thrilled to rally fans to help us recognize this spectacular spider, and welcome it into the Pringles family.”
