Peanut Butter Lasagna
This easy Peanut Butter Lasagna has layers of fluffy peanut butter filling, rich chocolaty pudding and a sweet whipped topping all nestled on a chocolate Oreo cookie crust. This easy no bake dessert can be made ahead of time and is a potluck favorite!
Ingredients:
For the Peanut Butter Layer:
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
For the Chocolate Layer:
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages of chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 1/4 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
For the Whipped Cream Topping:
- 1 (8 oz) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Mini chocolate chips, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, creamy peanut butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and well blended.
2. Layer the Crust:
- In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of graham cracker crumbs as the base.
3. Peanut Butter Layer:
- Spread half of the peanut butter mixture over the graham cracker crumbs evenly.
4. Chocolate Layer:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate instant pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens.
- Spread half of the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer.
5. Add Peanut Butter Cups:
- Sprinkle the chopped miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the chocolate pudding layer.
6. Repeat Layers:
- Repeat the layers one more time, starting with another layer of graham cracker crumbs, followed by the remaining peanut butter mixture, the remaining chocolate pudding, and another layer of chopped peanut butter cups.
7. Whipped Cream Topping:
- Spread the thawed whipped topping over the top layer of peanut butter cups, creating a smooth and even surface.
8. Garnish and Serve:
- Before serving, garnish with extra chopped miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and mini chocolate chips, if desired.
9. Refrigerate:
- Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the dessert to set.
10. Slice and Enjoy: – Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled.
