House for Sale: Comes with a Side of Taco Bell Thanks To Devante Adams

The NFL world is buzzing after the recent trade of wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets, reuniting him with former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. But beyond the excitement on the field, there’s an unexpected twist in the Las Vegas real estate market—one that involves Taco Bell.

Adams, who has been a star in the NFL and off the field in a Taco Bell ad campaign, famously featured a Taco Bell restaurant in his house. And now that he’s leaving Vegas, fans and Taco Bell lovers alike are wondering: Will that house, complete with its in-home fast-food restaurant, hit the market?

Taco Bell seized the opportunity to have fun with the speculation. On October 15, Taco Bell shared a playful real estate listing for Adams’ “undisclosed” Las Vegas home, humorously posted through online real estate company Opendoor.

“Imagine waking up to the smell of crunchwraps, every single morning,” the mock listing begins. It invites potential buyers to picture living in a dream home equipped with an in-house Taco Bell. The fictional amenities don’t stop there. The ad teases features like “8 beds, 10 baths, and a fully functioning Taco Bell,” complete with endless fire sauce packets in every drawer and Todd—a fictional employee—ready to serve Taco Bell favorites at any time.

The buzz around this fictional listing comes on the heels of a viral tweet highlighting the quirky storyline behind Adams’ trade. “The most underrated storyline surrounding a potential Davante Adams trade is that there could be a house with a Taco Bell coming available on the market soon,” read a post on X, fanning the flames of excitement among Taco Bell fans.

Even Adams got in on the joke during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” where he teased that his home in Las Vegas is not just equipped with one Taco Bell but two. When asked if he would bring one of the Taco Bells to New York now that he’s teaming up with Rodgers again, Adams joked, “No, we’re going to travel. I got two in my Vegas crib, so we’ll just keep those over there.”

Rodgers couldn’t resist chiming in, laughing, “Love the commercials.”

Though the Taco Bell real estate listing is all in good fun, it underscores the unexpected and entertaining ways that the intersection of sports and pop culture can catch the public’s imagination. While it remains to be seen whether Adams’ Vegas home will ever actually go on the market, one thing is clear: Taco Bell knows how to turn a fan-favorite into a viral sensation. And as Adams prepares to make his mark with the Jets, his departure from Las Vegas will be remembered not just for the impact on the Raiders’ offense, but also for the Taco Bell-themed real estate hype it inspired.

Stay tuned, Taco Bell lovers—you never know what’s cooking next.
